Volume One, Chapter 95, Part 3
This power was a divine force he had once obtained during his exile across dimensions, and it was unimaginably mighty.
It could devour any energy known to the universe, absorb it, and transform it into its own strength.
And the blue flames upon his body were the sign that that power had reached saturation.
The King of the Kirieloids sneered, as though he could already see Torrekia’s miserable death.
But the next second, that smile froze on his face.
For the invincible divine power he had possessed since the day he obtained it was actually ripped apart barehanded by Torrekia, vanishing in an instant.
“How is this possible!” The King of the Kirieloids nearly burst his eyes out of their sockets. His lips trembled wildly, and cold sweat poured down his back.
Impossible... how could this be!
Before the King of the Kirieloids could react, Torrekia had already flashed in front of him and seized his throat.
At the same time, a vast eye appeared within his consciousness, mercilessly rifling through every memory in his mind.
In Torrekia’s sight, fragments of memory flowed past like strips of film.
At last, he found what he had come to see.
It seemed to be another-dimensional space, yet it also felt like a different kind of universe.
For there were planets, stars, and galaxies there, as though it were truly a cosmos.
But it had boundaries, clearly visible in three dimensions, like a wall painted in violet.
And in the sky hung seven colossal stars.
“So enormous...” Even Torrekia felt a considerable shock.
Those seven stars each shone with a different light—some red, some blue.
Then, from the giant blue star, a meteor came flying out.
Its surface was covered in blue flames, and it happened to strike the King of the Kirieloids, who had been searching for a way out.
He remained unconscious there for a very long time, and when he awoke, a mysterious power had already entered his body.
With that power, he effortlessly tore open the dimensional space and returned to the universe.
The place he fell was Planet Jona.
Torrekia’s consciousness slowly withdrew. Just as he was about to leave, his gaze suddenly drifted to the far right and settled on that violet giant star.
For some reason, he suddenly felt that the energy radiating from that star was strangely familiar, as though he had seen it somewhere before.
Torrekia frowned. Whatever could evoke that feeling in him was certainly no ordinary thing.
He simply could not remember it for the moment.
But it did not matter. Now that he knew such a dimensional space existed, he would one day reach it and uncover the true power of those giant stars.
Perhaps they might even replace the elements of light and darkness.
Torrekia withdrew from the King of the Kirieloids’ consciousness, focused his eyes, and activated Fallen Rewrite.
The King of the Kirieloids went rigid at once; his once-turbulent aura instantly calmed.
“Go to Earth. Use your power to give Taro’s son a little trouble.”
A teasing smile curled at the corner of Torrekia’s mouth. He thrust out his palm, and the space behind the King of the Kirieloids suddenly split open with a seam.
Within the裂缝, the beautiful Earth was plainly visible.
“Let’s go.” Dragging the King of the Kirieloids by the neck, Torrekia strode forward and vanished from the sight of everyone on Planet Jona.
...
“My father said this was made by him and his most important partner. It can deepen the friendship between partners.”
“I see. Amazing.”
Hiroyuki nodded slowly, unable to stop his fingers from gently stroking the Taiga Spark.
This was high technology from the Land of Light. As a human from Earth, he actually possessed such an incredible device—it was almost unbelievable.
“Hahaha, amazing, right?” Taiga laughed like a fool, thumping his chest with pride. “The technology of our Ultraman race is among the very forefront of the entire universe.”
“Otherwise, why would so many races in the cosmos respect us?”
“Wow.” Hiroyuki nodded again, then could not help asking, “By the way, Taiga, who is your father?”
“My father is Taro. Ultraman Taro.”
When he said this, Taiga’s back straightened almost imperceptibly, and his gaze became unwavering.
Since childhood, he had lived under the shadow of being Taro’s son. No matter what he did, no matter what happened, he was treated differently.
And yet, even so, he had never slackened once. He had always been moving forward with all his strength.
He did not want anything else. He only wanted everyone to know that he was not merely Taro’s son, but Ultraman Taiga.
“Taro?” Hiroyuki tilted his head, then immediately searched for Taro on the computer.
The very first result was... a list of Ultraman Taro’s embarrassing past.
“Hm!?” That title instantly drew Taiga’s attention.
After all, in his heart, his father was a powerful and towering figure—how could he possibly have any embarrassing past?
Titas, who had been doing push-ups nearby, also froze for a moment, then quickly leaned in and urged Hiroyuki to click it open.
When the page opened, the first item listed was Ultraman Taro being pecked blind by the volcanic bird monster Birdon.
“Ah! My father was injured in the eyes?” Taiga immediately tensed up and hurriedly looked down.
After a short paragraph, there were two painfully striking pictures.
There was Ultraman Taro collapsed in the ruins, his two eyes covered in spiderweb cracks like shattered car windows.
“Ah, Father!” Taiga cried out and staggered back several steps.
He truly could not believe that his father had once endured such a brutal battle, even to the point of being blinded.
And yet, why did this picture somehow make people want to laugh?
“Volcanic bird monster... Birdon...” Titas muttered, then asked uncertainly, “Taiga, is this the same monster I punched to pieces earlier on Rock Planet?”
Taiga studied the monster in the photo for a few moments, then said, “Huh... it seems like it is.”
As soon as he said that, his expression gradually turned strange.
His father had actually lost to a single Birdon?
And from the background, it looked like Earth.
Which meant his father had once come to Earth, too, and had nearly been beaten to death by the volcanic bird monster Birdon!
“Maybe we should stop looking,” Hiroyuki said awkwardly. “After all, Taro is a senior. He might be afraid that if he keeps watching, it’ll shatter the hero in his heart.”
“It’s fine, it’s fine.” Taiga did not seem to mind at all. With a broad grin, he said, “I wasn’t interested at first, but now I’m even more curious about my father’s past.”
“Yes, yes, yes!” Titas agreed with a nod, wearing a face full of gleeful anticipation.
