Volume 1, Chapter 122: Give Them a Sound Thrashing!

What is going on? The Dark Giant actually saved Yuna! Trigger was so shocked his jaw practically hit the floor.

Meanwhile, Darrgon had steadied himself, placed Yuna on the ground with surprising gentleness, and then whipped around with a roar: "Whoever dares to harm Yuna is my enemy!"

"..." Carmeara was stunned—utterly, completely stunned. She had never in her wildest dreams imagined that Darrgon would step in to save Yuzare! Beside her, Hudram’s mouth hung open wide enough to swallow a cow. Though he had long since noticed that Darrgon held a peculiar fondness for that earthling, he never expected him to go to such lengths. Had he forgotten his own identity?

*Boom!*

Tregear shoved the debris off his body, his lips twitching. He, too, had not expected the Dark Giants, who had agreed to cooperate, to suddenly turn on him. Damn it! Tregear cursed inwardly; Darrgon’s earlier collision had made his already fragile condition even worse. If he couldn't replenish his energy soon, he wouldn't even be able to maintain his Ultra form.

Perhaps because Tregear’s power had dipped to a critical, weakened threshold, Greeza—a formidable entity in its own right—suddenly broke free from the mental shackles that had been binding it.

*Oh no!* Sensing the collapse of the corruption seal, Tregear’s expression shifted violently. Before he could react, Greeza threw Trigger aside, shaking its head and emitting a piercing, indiscriminate attack.

*Boom! Boom! Boom!*

Waves of sonic energy rippled out from Greeza, conducting a mental assault on everyone present while simultaneously short-circuiting all electronic equipment in the area. The Nursedessei lost power immediately, falling straight out of the sky.

*No!* Trigger, who had just scrambled to his feet, ignored his injuries and lunged forward, managing to catch the Nursedessei just as it was about to hit the ground. The GUTS-Select members broke into a cold sweat, but fortunately, they were safe.

Just then, Akito walked over with a grave expression, handing a handgun and a Key to Yao Hui. "I can't fix your Spark Lens yet, but by applying the law of conservation of energy, I’ve transferred Z’s power into the Hyper Gun. You can use it to transform."

"Oss!" Yao Hui thanked him immediately, grabbed the device, and ran to a secluded corner, diving straight into Z’s transformation space.

Learning that he could transform again, Z was ecstatic. Seeing Yao Hui arrive, he immediately spread his arms and shouted, "Call my name!"

Yao Hui inserted the Key into the Hyper Gun and yelled, "Z!"

*Biu!*

He pulled the trigger, but instead of the expected fusion transformation, the gun fired a laser that bounced around the cramped space and landed right on Z’s foot.

"Ah, damn it! @#￥%!!!"

At that moment, Z felt like strangling Yao Hui. "What are you doing?!"

"..." Yao Hui looked awkward; he didn't know what happened. Akito had clearly said it would work, so why was there no effect?

Z rolled his eyes and pointed to the gun, "Do you have to pull that part open?"

"I don't know. Let me try."

"Alright, let's do it again. Call my name!"

"Z! Ultraman!"

Amidst a brilliant, dazzling display of light, Yao Hui and Z merged into one, becoming... well, Ultraman Z!

A repulsive beam of light suddenly erupted in the air, instantly drawing everyone's attention. Trigger looked overjoyed and shouted, "Z, you’ve successfully transformed!"

"Oss!" Z replied, charging straight at Tregear the moment he landed. Coming from another dimension, he certainly knew what Tregear represented. If he could capture Tregear, wouldn't Master Zero be thrilled?

Seeing Z coming straight for him, Tregear panicked. His physical weakness meant he had no energy left to control the three monsters; if he were attacked now, his injuries would become unprecedentedly severe.

Just then, Greeza moved. A multitude of white arms erupted from its body, striking out at everyone present with thunderous force. Z was caught in the crossfire.

*Bang-boom!*

With an explosion, Z, whose attention had been entirely on Tregear, was sent flying. Only then did he remember that there was a Greeza lurking nearby. However, he wasn't overly concerned; having dealt with Greeza once before, he was experienced. Z scrambled up, instinctively wanting to switch forms, but a single sentence from Yao Hui left him frozen in place: "It’s no good! I can't use the Ultra Medals!"

Hearing this, Z nearly coughed up blood. He had been planning to switch to Delta Rise Claw and summon the Beliarok. As it turned out... this was a disaster!

Seeing that the situation had spiraled into total chaos, Carmeara’s eyes darted around, and she gave a low command: "We’re leaving!"

Hudram had been waiting for an excuse to run; hearing his leader’s order, he hurriedly released a cloud of black mist and vanished. Black mist also swirled around Carmeara, but she didn't leave immediately. Instead, she shouted at Darrgon, "What are you still standing there for?"

Darrgon had been carefully protecting Yuna, terrified she might suffer the slightest injury. Hearing his leader’s call, he turned, hesitated, and finally decided to leave. After all, he was a being of darkness, burdened with the duty of reviving the Dark Clan; if he were to go his own way now, it would undoubtedly chill Carmeara’s heart.

As he left, Darrgon cast one last lingering glance at Yuna before hurrying to Carmeara’s side.

"Let’s go."

Carmeara didn't speak, instead looking at Tregear. She had previously thought this damned Ultra was incredibly powerful, yet after one hit from Darrgon, he was now lying there unable to even stand. Though she didn't know how he had managed to manipulate a monster as powerful as Greeza, she had only one thought: take Tregear back and give him a severe beating.

With a wave of her hand, Carmeara’s black mist enveloped the scowling Tregear, and she whisked him away from the scene.

On the other side, Z and Trigger felt as wretched as if they had eaten dung. The power Greeza displayed was simply too immense—so overwhelming that they couldn't even get close. Most importantly, there were still two other monsters looming nearby: Golza and Galactron.
