The Victory Team.

Everyone fixed their eyes on the screen, closely watching the final moments of the demon god’s disappearance.

This was not the first time the demon god had vanished in such a strange fashion.

Previously, at other locations, the circumstances had been nearly identical.

Mizuno pondered for a moment before speaking, “Investigate the previous locations where the demon god appeared. See if there are any commonalities with this time.”

At her words, the four team members’ expressions froze, then they spoke in unison, “It’s that alien!”

Yatsurugi quickly operated the computer, uploading the photo of the alien they had seen at the circus onto the large screen.

It was an extremely fat alien, with two sharp horns on its head, looking quite foolish.

“It’s a Lucky Starian.”

Up until now, Kiri had remained silent, but at that moment he stood and naturally positioned himself before the others, pointing at the demon god on the screen as he continued, “As for that one, it’s an interdimensional demon god, Ainomeina.”

The Victory Team members were immediately taken aback by how readily Kiri named both aliens.

“How much do you know about them?” Mizuno was still the most composed, cutting straight to the point.

“I know them…” Kiri slowly turned to face the main screen.

A faint smirk played at the corner of his lips—not confidence, but disdain and contempt.

Such low-level interdimensional aliens were beneath his notice.

Still, having spoken, he felt obliged to give Mizuno a satisfactory answer.

“The Ainomeina are one of the lowest races in subspace,” Kiri explained. “They possess the ability to manipulate electromagnetic waves, driving those of weak will into a frenzy and causing them to lose control of themselves.”

At this, the team members suddenly understood.

No wonder those people had suddenly attacked them before—they had been manipulated by electromagnetic waves!

“What about the other one?” Mizuno pressed.

She was referring to the small alien who had appeared at the scene.

“He’s also a resident of subspace,” Kiri answered. “But his ability is the opposite of the demon god’s—he weakens electromagnetic waves.”

Daigo’s eyes lit up. “So the demon god is hunting him!”

“Something like that.” Kiri nodded slowly. “Their races have been enemies for generations. As for why they’ve appeared on Earth, that I can’t say.”

He didn’t know much about the affairs of subspace.

Just then, Rina suddenly asked, “By the way, Kiri, which planet are you from?”

Everyone’s attention instantly focused on Kiri.

They had all wanted to ask, but hesitation and fear of offending him had held them back.

“I’m from the Land of Light,” Kiri replied without hesitation, revealing his origins openly.

The Land of Light?

The team exchanged puzzled glances; none of them had ever heard of such a place.

Kiri let out a soft laugh and dropped another bombshell: “It’s a planet inhabited by countless Ultramen.”

“Ul…Ultramen!”

Those three syllables were not just a bombshell—they were a cataclysm.

They might not know the Land of Light, but Ultramen—they knew all too well.

Gigantic beings, possessing unimaginable power.

They had always believed them to be divine guardians descending to protect Earth.

Yet Kiri claimed that his homeland was filled with countless Ultramen!

Wait!

A sudden realization dawned on everyone, and their expressions froze.

“Then… are you the giant from that day?”

In that instant, every person present held their breath, staring blankly at Kiri.

Calmly, Kiri conjured an energy sphere in his hand and said softly, “You guessed right—I am an Ultraman as well.”

Boom—

Those words exploded in the hearts of the Victory Team like thunder.

Mizuno abruptly stood, her pupils trembling with shock.

Daigo’s eyes grew wider than an ox’s, and he nearly staggered to the floor.

“No way…” Rina muttered in a daze.

While the group reeled, Kiri quietly murmured to himself, “Activate.”

[Ding—]

[Welcome to the Artificial Intelligence System. Please name the system.]

“Chernobog.”

[Naming successful. The Chernobog System is now at your service.]

“Retrieve all available TPC data on Luluya. As detailed as possible.”

[Understood, Master.]

A cascade of blue data streams appeared across Kiri’s retina, resembling a school of fish.

This was the micro-intelligent computer he had developed in a moment of inspiration.

This device surpassed all the advanced technology he had used before; not only could it autonomously execute functions, but it could also automatically carry out simulated theoretical operations based on the user’s input.

In other words, it was a high-end version of Ultraman artificial intelligence.

The team’s emotions gradually settled.

Yet none spoke, all waiting for Kiri’s answer.

No—for the answer from a giant.

Most importantly, this giant was different from Tiga.

Tiga had never approached humans directly; he only appeared when monsters emerged.

But this giant…

“How can you prove that you’re a giant?” Mizuno asked in a low voice.

If he truly was a giant, the implications would far exceed those of any alien.

There was also the so-called Land of Light.

But who could guarantee this alien wasn’t simply bragging?

After all, the power of giants was overwhelming.

Besides, Tiga came from ultra-ancient times, thirty million years ago.

In all past records, there had never been any mention of a “Land of Light.”

She dared not take this lightly—nor could she.

As he scrolled through data, Kiri replied casually, “When that demon god appears again, I’ll take care of it for you.”

“Really… you can?” Mizuno found it hard to believe. She instinctively glanced at Daigo, then pressed on, “Can you tell me—would a giant willingly protect the Earth?”

This giant was not the same as that one.

“Why would we protect Earth…”

Kiri paused, suddenly recalling those from the Land of Light.

Yes, why would they willingly protect Earth?

Was it really just because of their mission as Warriors of Light?

He remembered his own battles with Taiga on Earth.

They truly seemed to be fighting with their very lives.

What exactly was Earth’s allure?

Kiri closed his eyes; he had no answer for this question.

After all, his motive was the dark element, and joining the Victory Team had been mere coincidence.

Seeing the tense faces around him, Kiri could only improvise, “Because Earthlings are similar to our ancestors.”

“Similar?”

“Yes.” Kiri took a deep breath and continued, “Our ancestors in the Land of Light had the same appearance, temperament, and even thoughts as you humans.”

“But at that time, the sun of our galaxy exploded.”

“Out of necessity, our scientists created an artificial sun.”

“It was from that moment that the Ultraman came into being.”
