"The true paradise is a world without light or darkness..."

...

One day, a month later, the sky was suddenly torn open by a crimson fissure, red as blood.

The surging energy waves emanating from it shocked nations across the world.

Alongside the appearance of the rift, a pure white holy light descended.

People called it an angel, and by association, the fissure was defined as demonic.

The Victory Team set out to investigate both phenomena, but could detect nothing at all.

These two forces were simply too powerful—so powerful that Earth's current technology was wholly incapable of comprehending them.

Crackle—

The door swung open, and Kirisaki strode inside.

The moment he appeared, he instantly drew the attention of everyone in the command room.

All eyes were filled with a particular kind of hope.

Glancing once at the crimson fissure on the screen, Kirisaki was forthright, speaking up at once: "That is the fabled Gate of the Plasma Galaxy."

Plasma... Galaxy?

The team members looked puzzled.

"You could say it's another galaxy," Kirisaki grinned, continuing, "Rifts like these have been appearing across the universes."

The group nodded with half understanding, a clear trace of melancholy in their expressions.

After all, such unknown beings were bound to induce human anxiety.

If a monster were to suddenly emerge, that would be a true catastrophe.

At that moment, another image flashed onto the screen.

Noyori's voice promptly sounded: "Along with the crimson rift, this so-called Angel's Gate has also appeared."

"Up to now, many have likened these two miraculous phenomena to heaven and hell."

Watching the object radiating its holy light on the screen, Kirisaki couldn't help but frown.

To steal his thunder at a time like this—was someone courting death?

Once again, the image on the screen changed, cutting to live street interviews.

"Excuse me, miss, sorry to bother you."

"May I ask if you know anything about the angel?"

The reporter interviewed several passersby, and every answer was about the angel.

In contrast, whenever the crimson fissure was mentioned, everyone displayed a sense of fearful unease.

Indeed, the existence of the crimson rift only made people more inclined toward the angel.

Kirisaki slowly sat down, closed his eyes, and sent a message to Barerel.

"Come to my current Earth immediately. I need you to purge all alien forces here before that dark element fully matures."

"Understood, my lord."

Far away in the Plasma Galaxy, Barerel dared not delay. He immediately took up his dark demon blade and stepped into a dimensional rift.

This rift led directly to Earth's crimson fissure.

"I heard from a friend that she saw it here, so I came to try my luck."

"Ma'am, have you ever seen an angel?"

"I have. That angel was shining with white light all over."

The moment this voice sounded, Captain Rina instinctively stood up, her expression unnatural.

"I believe angels have always protected us by our side."

Perhaps unable to watch any longer, Rina turned and prepared to leave.

"Captain?" Daigo called after her, somewhat puzzled. "Do you know the person on TV?"

"You don't need to know who she is," Rina's tone abruptly turned cold.

With that, she walked out without looking back.

At that moment, the crimson fissure suddenly erupted with electricity, forcibly drawing everyone's attention back.

Kirisaki curled his lips, his smile turning playful.

A thick, powerful arm reached out from the rift, gripping a long blade wreathed in faint black mist.

"An alien!" Kakei exclaimed in shock.

Since the last demon god incident, no aliens had appeared on Earth.

And now, another had arrived!

With the captain absent, Vice Captain Munakata immediately gave the order: "Victory Team, deploy!"

"Yes, sir!"

The team members steeled themselves and rushed to the hangar.

In an instant, only Kirisaki and Noyori remained in the command room.

The atmosphere grew exceptionally quiet.

Glancing at Noyori, who was engrossed in his research, Kirisaki leaned back, preparing for a brief rest.

Just then, the door burst open and Director Sawai entered with a team in tow.

Noyori looked up instinctively, startled. "Director, is there something wrong?"

Sawai ignored him, walking straight up to Kirisaki. "Mr. Kirisaki, we suspect you of stealing TPC confidential data. Please come with us."

Stealing data?

Noyori's expression grew blank, looking at Kirisaki in disbelief.

No way...

Kirisaki opened his eyes, a faint smile on his lips. "It seems my Evil God System still needs improvement."

For Earthlings to uncover it with such backward technology was truly impressive.

Facing several dark gun barrels, Kirisaki remained calm, his eyes tinged with contempt and scorn.

He slowly stood up, his gaze sweeping across the room, and the sudden pressure he released made everyone's pupils contract.

In that instant, they all seemed to enter a peculiar space, watched over by an unimaginably vast eye.

Before that eye, they felt as if they were gazing into the boundless cosmos.

That sense of infinity and depth, like a black hole, ceaselessly devoured their minds and gnawed at their souls.

Insignificant, minuscule, utterly trivial...

When everyone came to their senses, Kirisaki was nowhere to be seen in the command room.

As consciousness returned, Noyori's eyes widened in shock and he gasped for air.

Steadying himself, he quickly pulled out his communicator, reporting the incident to the other team members.

"What!"

"Kirisaki disappeared?"

"What happened?"

"..."

Noyori's face was conflicted. He looked at Sawai and calmly asked, "Director, what is going on?"

The other party had barged in out of nowhere and accused Kirisaki of stealing TPC data, leaving him caught off guard and confused.

Director Sawai smiled slightly and explained, "Our technicians discovered someone had hacked into the database some time ago. After a month of tracking, we finally located the IP address of the breach—it was within the Victory Team."

A month ago was precisely when Kirisaki completed version 0.0 of the Evil God System.

Though advanced, the newly developed system was still in its infancy and riddled with bugs, which left traces that TPC's technicians managed to detect.
