"Who goes there!"

Amidst Carmeara's startled cry, two golden figures slowly descended. They were entirely clad in golden armor, each bearing a red emblem on their chests—a clear sign they belonged to the same race.

Tartarus swept a cold glance at Tregear, let out a soft huff, and turned his gaze toward Carmeara. "I am an Absolute Lifeform, a warrior of the Absolutians—Absolute Tartarus!"

"An Absolute Lifeform!"

Upon hearing these words, everyone present was struck with terror, their eyes widening in shock. But what shattered their composure even further was when the other figure spoke.

"I am an Absolute Lifeform, a warrior of the Absolutians—Absolute Diavolo!"

Two Absolute Lifeforms!

Carmeara and her two companions stood frozen, their hearts trembling and a sudden chill running down their spines. At their level of existence, they understood exactly what an Absolute Lifeform signified. Most importantly, Tregear had appeared alongside them! Could it be...

"Then, allow me to introduce myself with equal grandeur," Tregear said with a faint smile. His expression was as gentle as a spring breeze, lacking the terrifying oppressive force brought by Tartarus and Diavolo, making him seem almost harmless. Yet, every word he uttered shook their very souls. "I am the ruler of chaos, the Chaotic Evil God, the sole inheritor of Grimdo's power—the Evil God Tregear!"

Tregear! So, his name was Tregear!

Carmeara’s expression turned solemn, her eyes filled with gravity. She nodded slightly and whispered, "Darrgon, Hudram, our powers have not yet fully recovered. Be careful and prepare to retreat at any moment."

They were already unable to withstand one Absolute Lifeform, let alone two, plus this individual whose name they had never heard but whose reputation was terrifyingly vast. Under the current circumstances, retreat was undoubtedly the wisest choice. But before that, she had to take her Trigger with her!

Without a moment’s hesitation, Carmeara unleashed a wave of dark energy, attempting to shatter Tregear’s magnetic field.

To her horror, the energy, upon touching the field, twisted and vanished into thin air.

"How is this possible!" Carmeara’s eyes widened in sheer disbelief. What happened next nearly made her pupils burst. Under the shroud of the magnetic field, Dark Trigger’s energy was being stripped away, thread by thread, all flowing into Tregear.

"He is absorbing Trigger's power!" Darrgon cried out in alarm.

"I know!" Carmeara clenched her fists, her mind in complete turmoil. Disregarding everything else, she rushed toward Dark Trigger, desperate to save him.

"Don't even think about it!" Tartarus let out a low growl. With both hands, he unleashed a surge of destructive power, blasting the rushing Carmeara far away. Although he did not know why Tregear needed to absorb the power of a planetary-level unit, if it was beneficial to him, he would not stop it—in fact, he would fully support it. Everything was for the sake of The Kingdom!

When it came to the power of devouring, in the entire universe, if Tregear claimed second place, no one would dare claim first.

Before long, Dark Trigger was completely decomposed into pure energy, flowing as dark red streams into Tregear’s body.

"No!" Carmeara let out a heart-wrenching scream, tears streaming down her face. Losing all control, she lunged at Tregear like a madwoman.

This time, Tartarus did not intervene.

Tregear, too, remained still, watching the approaching Carmeara calmly. When she was within twenty meters, he reached out his arm and grabbed her wrist, twisting it gently.

"Ah!"

Still in a state of irrational grief, Carmeara let out an involuntary cry. Her consciousness cleared for a fleeting second, but before she could react, a massive force pulled her body, and she fell directly into... Tregear's embrace.

Boom—

Feeling the warmth against her back, Carmeara’s mind went blank. But what she felt most was fury and humiliation. Especially with Trigger right there, she felt the intense, degrading shame of a virtuous woman being forcibly taken by a tyrant.

"Let go of me!" Carmeara struggled violently, but her arms were locked tight by Tregear, rendering her unable to move.

At that moment, Tregear’s voice echoed in her ear, his tone somewhat grinding, "Did you enjoy the whipping these past few days?"

"..." Carmeara huffed in anger, remaining silent.

"It doesn't matter," Tregear smiled wickedly, lifting a hand to hook her chin and tilt it upward. "You should be grateful. If it were in the past, had you dared to offend me like this, you would have already been stripped of your power and tossed into some corner of the universe to become a plaything for anyone to toy with."

"..." Carmeara’s body trembled slightly, but she still did not speak. She did not know how Tregear had escaped, nor did she know why he had suddenly acquired power not inferior to her own. It must have been the handiwork of those Absolute Lifeforms.

Carmeara’s gaze shifted to Tartarus, and as her mind finally calmed, she asked, "What exactly are you trying to do?"

"What else?" Tregear smiled. "We are here for the Eternity Core, of course."

Carmeara: "..."

"That's right," Tartarus turned around, his voice deep. "As long as you stop interfering with the affairs of the Eternity Core, I can let you off for now."

Carmeara lowered her head in thought for a while, eventually gritting her teeth and nodding. At a gesture from Tartarus, Tregear loosened his grip and released her.

Carmeara immediately backed away, rubbing her wrist with a sense of lingering resentment. She looked at Tartarus, ready to speak, when a voice suddenly echoed within her sea of souls.

"..." Carmeara froze, her expression sinking. She furrowed her brows and glanced subtly at Tregear before returning to Darrgon and Hudram’s side. "Let's go!"

Dark energy surged, and the three vanished into the mist.

"Let us be off as well." Tartarus turned, raising his arms. As golden light shimmered, the Narak space manifested behind him.

Was this the power he used to traverse the timeline? Looking at the golden light curtain before him, Tregear felt a sense of relief, then followed in Tartarus's footsteps and stepped inside.
