The monstrous giant created by Danhou was still spinning at high speed, its wrists unleashing concentrated beams that attacked the city indiscriminately in every direction. Da Gu and Masaki were relentlessly suppressed by this fierce assault; each time they tried to stand, the swift beams struck them again, knocking them down.

“Whoosh—!”

High above, a streak of silver light flashed across the sky, leaving behind a trail of roaring wind. That silver light sped straight toward the giant made by Danhou, like a lance piercing the void.

“Swish—”

The silver streak struck with overwhelming force, smashing into the evil giant with tremendous power. The spinning giant came to a halt, staggering under the blow.

“Da Gu! Now’s our chance!”

Yue Longze shouted from the air; the silver light was the Cloud Sword he had thrown. At that moment, the Cloud Sword was embedded upright in the hardened earth.

Da Gu and Masaki exchanged a nod with Yue Longze in the sky, then leapt high, landing beside the swaying evil giant, one on each side, locking its shoulders in a firm grip.

“Don’t think it’ll be that easy!” In the TPC base conference room, Danhou’s consciousness controlled the giant in battle, facing the threat from two Ultraman warriors, yet showing no fear.

Though the evil giant’s arms were tightly restrained, its head was still mobile. It began twisting wildly, and on its head, similar in shape to Mebius, was a laser lamp reminiscent of Ultraseven’s, but not round like Seven’s—instead, it was a small diamond shape, colored milky white.

From that diamond-shaped lamp, red laser beams began shooting out in rapid succession. The giant’s head swiveled, sending red rays sweeping across the sky with formidable power, striking Da Gu and Masaki repeatedly and inflicting intense pain.

“Damn it!” Yue Longze, seeing this, surged forward in his dark form, flying straight toward the evil giant. His silver, powerful hand pressed down hard on the giant’s head, covering the laser lamp. But his right hand, pressed against the lamp, suffered severe damage.

Yue Longze howled in agony; in less than ten seconds, his hand was pierced through by the red laser beam. Colorful sparks erupted, and the giant’s blood began to flow.

Seeing this, Yue Longze gritted his teeth, pain flashing in his milky white eyes, and, enduring the agony, pressed his left hand over the site as well, blocking the laser rays with all his strength.

He had to hold on!

Inside the advanced conference room at the TPC base, Danhou, who had been calmly seated, began to sweat coldly. He hadn’t expected his opponents to restrain him through such self-sacrificial means. It was beyond Danhou’s calculations.

High in the sky, Lina piloted the Atedis with exceptional skill, steadily maneuvering behind the evil giant, preparing to reverse the Megas Power Unit.

“Now!” The Megas Power Unit began to reverse, and as the evening sky darkened, radiant, gentle beams from the Megas energy box shone precisely onto the giant’s back.

“Boom!” Subjected to opposing energies, the Megas device inside the giant instantly collapsed. The evil giant’s body stiffened, frozen in place.

Its eyes dulled, the timer on its chest flashed red. It stood slack and powerless upon the earth.

Yue Longze and the others released their grip, gasping for breath.

Meanwhile, in the TPC base conference room, Danhou clenched his hair in rage, his face twisted, his venomous gaze fixed on those before him.

“How—how could you know about the Megas Power Unit?”

He was met only with confused stares.

Danhou was furious; he had gone to great lengths to secretly install the device inside the giant, and even Director Miyazawa knew only of the Megas Power Unit, not that Danhou had embedded it in the giant’s body.

Clearly, Danhou had miscalculated.

Who could have predicted the Dinosaurians would help the Earthlings?

Fortune, timing, and unity—Danhou’s defeat was sealed by unity!

With the Megas device destroyed, and the giant’s fighting ability weak, Danhou knew he stood no chance.

He realized his doom was imminent. The group in the conference room would soon hear the news from Tokyo.

By then, his fate would be grim.

At this thought, Danhou let out a cold laugh.

“If I must die, then let more die with me!” Danhou didn’t intend to simply kill himself and lose control of the giant—without an energy source, even a rampaging giant was useless.

Instead, he planned to detonate the backup energy stored in the Megas device while it was still intact!

The resulting blast would be enough to annihilate half of Japan!

“The system has detected an extreme energy fluctuation inside the giant!” Inside the Atedis, Kurei stared in terror at the rising numbers on the monitor. “If this continues, the giant will explode! Most of Japan could be wiped out!”

“What!” Deputy Captain Munakata was shocked. “How much time until the explosion?”

“Less than…less than twenty seconds!” Cold sweat broke out on Kurei’s round face. The others’ expressions darkened.

“Ultraman warriors! The giant will explode in less than twenty seconds!” Munakata shouted repeatedly to Yue Longze and the others, whether or not they could hear him.

Yue Longze, clutching his injured hand, was lost in pain and didn’t notice Munakata’s warning. Da Gu and Masaki, in better condition, were stunned—then immediately lifted the immobilized evil giant, flying toward outer space.

Seeing their actions, Yue Longze realized what was happening and heard Munakata’s shout. He grew anxious; several seconds had already passed!

Every second meant lives.

Yue Longze took off at full speed, enduring the pain in his hand, chasing after Da Gu and Masaki in the sky, hoping he could help.

Without any burden, Yue Longze was much faster than the two carrying the giant—he caught up in just two seconds.

But he was met by Da Gu and Masaki’s massive feet; with a small exertion, without turning their heads, they kicked the unsuspecting Yue Longze down to the ground.

Their intent was clear: they didn’t want Yue Longze to risk himself.

Time was far too tight! No one could guarantee this ticking bomb could be sent away from Earth in time.
