The next day, no sooner had Mo Qianxun finished one delivery than the "Laiyidian" app pinged her with another order.

The address was still Qingqiu, and the customer was the same woman as yesterday. However, the order content was... a bit much.

"Five roasted chickens? Are you serious? Can that young lady really eat five roasted chickens all by herself?" Mo Qianxun stared at the quantity, utterly stunned.

Before falling asleep last night, she had replayed the events of the previous order in her mind. She reasoned that since this was a "Myriad Worlds Delivery System," the world glimpsed behind the young lady must be the Qingqiu she hailed from. The lady in red likely wasn't a ghost; as everyone knows, Qingqiu is famous for being home to fox spirits. So, the lady must be a fox spirit—no wonder she was so beautiful!

Mo Qianxun arrived at the shop to pick up the order. The shopkeeper’s eyes lit up as he handed her the bags; after all, five roasted chickens was a significant order for the restaurant.

Mo Qianxun arrived at the woods once more, finding Hu Mei'er with practiced ease. This time, however, Hu Mei'er was not alone. She had brought two friends along to wait for the delivery.

"Young lady, we meet again!" Hu Mei'er's eyes sparkled the moment she saw Mo Qianxun, her gaze fixed intently on the delivery bags.

"Hello, miss! Here is your order," Mo Qianxun said, handing over the bags. "Please, don't forget to give me a five-star review!"

She had studied the system carefully the night before. Five-star reviews were crucial; the more she accumulated, the higher her commission would climb.

"Little girl, you aren't as nervous as you were yesterday. Does this mean you don't take me for a ghost anymore?" Hu Mei'er teased, watching Mo Qianxun.

Mo Qianxun scratched her head, feeling a bit embarrassed. "I was just too surprised yesterday; I didn't know how to react! I'm sorry!"

"It's fine! Here, this is for you—the same Nine-Nether Grass as yesterday." Hu Mei'er handed her another stalk of the plant along with a spirit stone.

Mo Qianxun took them, looking curiously at the spirit plant that resembled a common weed. "Miss, besides consolidating the soul, does this Nine-Nether Grass have any other uses?"

"Of course. It is an essential ingredient for refining many high-level elixirs. Things like Rejuvenation Pills or Soul-Returning Pills all require it," Hu Mei'er replied, looking Mo Qianxun up and down. "But you look like an ordinary mortal; knowing this won't be of much use to you!"

"If taken on its own, are there any side effects?"

"Of course not. Taken alone, it simply helps consolidate the soul and heal minor external injuries. Its true potency can only be unlocked when refined into pills with other herbs."

"I see. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy your meal!" Mo Qianxun said, tucking the grass away.

"Thank you," Hu Mei'er replied, then left with her two companions.

This time, Mo Qianxun watched them depart. She clearly saw that after they took two steps, their figures simply vanished, and the woods returned to their original, mundane appearance.

On the way back, Mo Qianxun pondered the Nine-Nether Grass in her hand for a long time. By the time she reached the city, a look of determination had crossed her face.

She went about her day, taking orders until nine in the evening. Once home, she planted the second stalk of Nine-Nether Grass in a new pot and placed it next to the first.

The center of the first stalk had developed a distinct branch, looking more like a stem; she found herself unexpectedly looking forward to it blooming.

Two days passed. During this time, the stem of the first plant grew at a visible rate, developing flower buds. She had also received two more stalks from Hu Mei'er, bringing her total to four.

On the third morning, Mo Qianxun went to the window to check on the plants and saw that the first stalk had bloomed. The flower was yellow, shaped like a small bell, and seemed to emit a faint, ethereal glow.

The frightening part, however, was that birds of all kinds were constantly slamming against her window, as if desperate to break in. Their target was clearly the blooming Nine-Nether Grass.

Mo Qianxun took a photo of the flower to save on her phone, then decided to take the plant to the police station. After her second delivery, she had resolved to turn this system over to the state. If she tried to manage this alone and encountered someone with malicious intent, she would have no means of self-preservation—she would be like a lamb in a tiger's den. Relying on the state was the safe path!

But the moment Mo Qianxun stepped out of her apartment building, she saw a swarm of birds diving straight toward her. Terrified, she slammed the door shut and scrambled back inside.

It seemed taking the plant to the police station herself was impossible. She would have to trouble the police to come to her.

Mo Qianxun called the police. Her reason? She was under attack by birds.

The dispatcher was baffled, wondering if the young woman was mentally unstable. However, out of duty, they sent two officers to her home.

When they arrived at the apartment complex and stepped out of their car, they looked up and saw a massive, swirling cloud of birds slamming against a window on one of the floors. A strange, chilling feeling washed over them; surely, that must be the apartment of the caller!

Seeing the ferocity of the birds, which seemed intent on an all-out assault, the officers rushed toward the building.

Such a spectacle naturally caused a commotion, with many people filming it and uploading it to the internet, where it quickly topped the trending charts. Netizens speculated that the family living there must have done something truly heinous to provoke such avian revenge.

Neighbors in the same building recognized the window and immediately knew who lived there. They grew wary of Mo Qianxun; anyone capable of provoking the public wrath of birds couldn't be a good person. The quiet girl they thought they knew was apparently capable of something so abhorrent that even nature couldn't tolerate it. They decided to keep their distance to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.

The two officers reached the apartment and knocked. A young girl opened the door. They looked her over—she seemed like a quiet, harmless young woman.

Mo Qianxun led them inside and pointed to the window, where the birds were still battering the glass. She sighed helplessly. "Officers, as you can see, I really am being attacked by birds."
