Finally, after holding the stance for the duration of an incense stick, Liefier could no longer keep it up and collapsed onto the ground. "Grey, I can't do it anymore! I'm exhausted!"

"I told you that you wouldn't be able to hold it," Ye Tian said with a grin as he opened his eyes.

"How are you still able to stay like that? Don't you get tired?" Liefier pouted in frustration.

"Not tired at all. It’s as routine as eating," Ye Tian replied. He kicked out a few times and executed a high-flying kick before gracefully retracting his leg.

"So cool!" Stars seemed to shimmer in Liefier's eyes.

"It's quite ordinary," Ye Tian laughed.

"But it really is cool! Are there any other moves?" Liefier asked.

"There are, but martial arts are meant for strengthening the body, not for performing tricks," Ye Tian said helplessly.

"But it looks so good!" Liefier protested.

"I give up on you."

"Grey, show me one more!" Liefier pleaded.

"Fine, just one. And you mustn't tell anyone else." Ye Tian checked the training grounds; the doors were closed, so there was no need to worry about being spied on. He drew the soft sword from his waist.

"Grey, when did you tie that around your waist?" Liefier was startled, having never noticed it before.

"I carry a lot of things on me. Would you like me to take them all out for you to see?" Ye Tian retorted sharply. "Watch closely!"

Channeling his internal energy, the soft sword instantly stiffened. "The first form of the Fallen Petal Divine Sword: Winding Path Leading to Seclusion!" The blade sliced through the air at an unconventional angle, fluttering like falling snowflakes.

"Wow!" Liefier was dumbfounded. She had never seen such beautiful swordsmanship; it was almost like a dance!

"The final form: Petals Scatter, Life Ends!" The long sword lunged toward Liefier like a viper. The girl jumped in fright and was about to scream, but the soft sword behaved like a living serpent, bending mid-air to strike directly behind Ye Tian.

"You scared me to death!" Liefier patted her chest.

"It's fine!" Ye Tian retracted the soft sword and wound it back around his waist.

"Grey, that was too beautiful, just like a dance!" Liefier exclaimed.

"It's alright. The Fallen Petal Divine Sword is intended for women. My execution is a bit too rigid; if a woman were to perform it, it would look even better," Ye Tian said.

"Can you teach me?" Liefier asked.

"I can, but it requires great patience. It takes at least three years to master this set of swordsmanship."

"That long? But you make it look so easy!" Liefier complained.

"What I just performed was merely a resemblance; I didn't capture the true essence of the technique. The power of this sword style is far beyond what you just saw," Ye Tian explained.

"Can such a soft, flowing sword style really kill?" Liefier asked in surprise.

"Can it kill?" Ye Tian scoffed. "You can drop the 'can'. Once you master this style, you could hold your own even against a first-rate expert."

"A first-rate expert? What level is that?" Liefier asked curiously.

"Er, roughly comparable to a Grand Swordsman," Ye Tian replied. He had seen the strength of Burton and Rudy; they were formidable. It was only because Rudy had bad luck and attracted lightning that Ye Tian had managed to defeat him without much effort.

"That powerful?" Liefier was amazed.

"Want to try?"

"Three years... I think I'll pass!" Liefier shook her head.

"Every specialty has its own focus. You should just keep researching your own path. Aren't you just one step away from the peak?" Ye Tian comforted her.

"That one step is a chasm," Liefier sighed. "Forget it, let's head back. I'm bored."

"That works. I'll make you something light for dinner," Ye Tian smiled. "How about something for beauty and health?"

After seeing to Liefier, Ye Tian returned to his room.

"Is your arm feeling better?" Ye Tian asked, looking at Conia, who was sitting on his bed.

"So concerned about me? By the way, what did you do to Head Maid Bella?" Conia asked with a smirk.

"I did nothing," Ye Tian said. "Why would you ask that?"

"It’s very strange. The Head Maid has been in a foul mood all afternoon."

"Is that so? Then what does that have to do with me?" Ye Tian curled his lip. "Give me your hand."

"Aren't you a priest?" Conia asked, feeling strange as Ye Tian placed his hand on her wrist.

"I never said I was a priest."

"Is that so? Tee-hee!" Conia rested her chin on her hand, looking at him intently. "What's wrong?"

"You really are a strange person," Conia said with a giggle.

"Why?" Ye Tian asked, his face calm.

Conia laughed, "If it were anyone else, they wouldn't care if I died, let alone help me treat my illness and poison so diligently."

"People are different. In my eyes, there is no one who deserves to die," Ye Tian said. He took out his needle pouch. "Don't move, I just need to place a few needles."

Conia looked at the long needles and laughed, "They look quite terrifying!"

"That depends on who is using them." Ye Tian quickly inserted a few needles and just as quickly withdrew them. "There, move it around."

Conia flexed her arm and said in surprise, "Oh, it doesn't hurt or itch anymore. You're truly amazing."

"Don't go touching other people's things next time, or you won't even know how you died," Ye Tian said, putting his things away. "You can go now."

"You're just going to let me leave like this?" Conia teased.

"What else do you want? Do you expect me to warm the bed for you?" Ye Tian frowned.

"That's not a bad idea." Conia walked up to Ye Tian and leaned in close. "Since you saved me, don't you want to collect some interest?"

"I don't," Ye Tian said.

"Is that so? But I want to thank you. What should I do?" Conia gently pulled down the collar of her shirt, revealing a deep cleavage that caught Ye Tian's gaze. "Does it look good?"

"It looks good," Ye Tian replied.

"Are you not tempted at all?" Conia lightly tapped Ye Tian's chest with her finger.

"I only sleep with women I like," Ye Tian said suddenly.

"As expected." Conia sighed. "Everything you do is just a mask."

"It's not good for a woman to know too much," Ye Tian said coldly.

"Then will you kill me?" Conia asked with a smile, though her finger continued to trace circles on his chest.

"No," Ye Tian replied sincerely.

"Why?" Conia asked curiously.

"No reason." Ye Tian turned his head away.

"I told you, you're a strange person!" Conia said, stepping away from him. "Can you tell me your purpose for coming to the Imperial Capital?"

Seeing Ye Tian's silence, Conia smiled. "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. If you're worried, you can kill me!"

Ye Tian remained silent. A flash of disappointment crossed Conia's eyes. She walked up to him once more. "If there is anything you need my help with, just let me know. It will be my way of thanking you for saving my life." She paused, stood on her tiptoes, kissed him on the lips, and turned to leave.

Ye Tian let out a sigh of relief and lay down on the bed. He was exhausted today, especially after using so much internal energy to detoxify Conia. All he wanted was to rest. Ye Tian yawned, and without even removing his clothes, he fell asleep.

In his half-conscious state, Ye Tian suddenly felt someone moving him. Startled, he instinctively grabbed the person, pulled them onto the bed, flipped over, and pinned them down.

"Oh, Miss Bella!" Ye Tian realized it was the Head Maid. Looking down, it seemed she had been trying to help him undress. "What is it, Head Maid? Can't sleep, so you came to warm my bed?" Ye Tian laughed.

"Let me go!" Bella didn't struggle, but said in a cold voice.

"Miss Bella, your attitude is very poor!" Ye Tian flipped Bella over, pinned her down again, and reached out with a mischievous hand.

"Didn't you say you don't like to sleep with others casually?" Bella said coldly.

"You heard that?" Ye Tian’s hand stopped moving.

"Yes, I heard it very clearly," Bella said.

"But I am very interested in you." Ye Tian finished his sentence, and his hand began to move again.

"Is that so?" Bella sneered. She reached out and unbuttoned her top, revealing her two towering mounds. She grabbed Ye Tian's other hand and pressed it firmly against her chest.

"What is the meaning of this?" Ye Tian asked.

"You're very interested, aren't you? Why stop?" Bella said coldly.

"Fine, you win!" Ye Tian sat up. "I'm sorry."

"Hmph, coward!" Bella stood up and straightened her clothes. "Leave the Roxanu family. You are nothing but a troublemaker; you will only bring chaos here!" She adjusted her glasses and walked out.

"A troublemaker, huh? That's a good description. But what I intend to stir up isn't just this place," Ye Tian muttered, the corners of his mouth curling upward.
