“Your Majesty, are you satisfied?” Ye Tian bowed and asked.

“Ger, could you stop being so hypocritical!” Lei Yisina pouted. “What’s your real name?”

“Ger,” Ye Tian said firmly.

“Oh? Where are you from? Which village? I’ll send someone to check.” The girl curled her lips.

“Please, miss, spare me!” Ye Tian was helpless.

“Hmph, that’s what you get for not telling the truth!”

“How about we go shopping?” Ye Tian asked.

“Sure, sure!” Lei Yisina and Lika beamed with joy. “But I’ll be recognized as soon as I step outside.” The girl immediately looked disappointed.

“No worries, just change your clothes and hairstyle,” Ye Tian said confidently.

“Really? Let’s go prepare then!” He said, leading Lei Yisina back to her little courtyard.

“No!” Leila opposed firmly. “Ger, if anything goes wrong, who will be responsible?”

“Don’t worry, nothing will happen with me around. If anything does happen, the troops outside will help,” Ye Tian smiled.

“Besides, some things need to be confirmed.”

“That’s still not allowed!” Leila shook her head.

“Alright then, you lend her some clothes,” Ye Tian joked.

“No way, I know what you’re up to!” Leila was resolute. “Ger, if the Queen makes the slightest mistake, the academy can’t be held accountable!”

“But she really needs to go out,” Ye Tian said helplessly. “And she must go, otherwise many things can’t be confirmed.”

“What exactly do you want to confirm?” Leila asked anxiously.

“Fine, then help me call Leyton.”

“No!” Leyton firmly rejected after hearing Ye Tian’s plan. “I won’t allow my sister to go out!”

“Why not?” Ye Tian smiled. “No confidence in yourself?”

Leyton glanced at Lei Yisina beside him and gritted his teeth. “No, I still disagree!”

“I’m going too!” Leila said.

“No, you’re not allowed!” Ye Tian suddenly said.

“Why? I want to serve Her Majesty the Queen!” Leila asked in surprise.

“I serve the Queen. You stay at the academy. Remember, no following!” Ye Tian said seriously.

“You’re acting strange today,” Leila frowned. “You still have to look after Elia and Michelle. If you leave and Michelle gets into trouble, what then?”

“You think she’s as clumsy as you?” Leila was displeased. “Michelle can handle things on her own now. She doesn’t need me guiding her.”

“No, I won’t let you go!” Ye Tian was adamant.

“Ger!” Leila suddenly whispered softly. “Are you hiding something from me?”

“No!” Ye Tian said seriously.

“Or is it dangerous out there?”

“No!” Ye Tian denied again.

Leila stared at Ye Tian for a long while. “Fine, I won’t follow, but you must promise to come back safely,” she suddenly said.

“No problem, trust me!” Ye Tian was confident. “With me around, nothing will go wrong!”

Nearby, Lei Yisina finally persuaded Leyton, who went to find Canon. Although their ranks weren’t high, together they could hold their ground for a while. Besides, the town wasn’t far from the academy. Once inside, nothing to fear—assassins, ha! Try and get in!

Soon, Canon arrived. Seeing Lei Yisina in casual clothes, she was astonished.

“Miss Canon, it’s me,” Lei Yisina smiled. “Her Majesty the Queen.”

Canon saluted.

“Don’t act like that outside, or people will notice your flaws!” Ye Tian said seriously. “Remember, you must restrain yourself.”

“All right, I’ll try!” Canon suddenly got nervous.

“You fool! You’re her future sister-in-law; what’s there to fear!” Ye Tian laughed heartily.

“Ger, go to hell!” Canon blushed and swung her staff at Ye Tian. “Leyton, see how violent your fiancée is? Better not keep her!” Ye Tian dodged while speaking.

The scene instantly became chaotic. Lei Yisina giggled, blocking Canon, while Leyton awkwardly didn’t know whom to help. Canon stomped her foot in frustration.

“All right, calm down now, Miss Canon. Lei Yisina is your sister now. Why aren’t you linking arms?” Ye Tian said.

“May I?” Canon asked.

“Of course, call me Lei Mi,” Lei Yisina warmly linked arms with Canon. “I’ve always wanted an older sister!”

Canon immediately relaxed and linked arms with her. “I’ve always wanted a younger sister!”

“Enough, let’s go out. By the way, I need to go back briefly to get something,” Ye Tian remembered the Soft Moon Stone and hurriedly told her companions, then went back to the dormitory for it.

“Ger, where do you plan to go?” Leyton followed quietly.

“Wherever. The key is to make sure Lei Yisina has fun today!” Ye Tian said. “Don’t worry, nothing major will happen.”

“What?” Leyton didn’t quite catch that. “Ger, what did you say?”

“Oh, found it!” Ye Tian pulled out a glowing orb.

“What is that?” Leyton asked, staring at the softly glowing stone in Ye Tian’s hand.

“A Soft Moon Stone. Ever heard of it?” Ye Tian asked.

“Yes, it’s said to soften metal. Usually useless. Where did you get it?”

“Bought it at a street stall. Cost me half a gold coin!” Ye Tian sighed.

“Really? Ger, you got tricked! That Soft Moon Stone isn’t worth five silver coins! The only true thing is its scarcity. Usually, it’s useless. You got ripped off!” Leyton was frustrated.

“Doesn’t matter, as long as I can use it!” Ye Tian smiled.

“What will you use it for? Crafting weapons?” Leyton was puzzled. Ye Tian wasn’t a mage and didn’t need a staff. Weapons would be swords or daggers. How would you use a sword as soft as noodles? Leyton felt they truly lived in different worlds.

“Let’s go. Have a great time today!” Ye Tian grinned.

“Yeah!” Lei Yisina was very excited. She never had the chance before; now she did, she’d enjoy the life of a commoner.

“Let’s go. Everything depends on Miss Canon now!” Ye Tian laughed. “The two ladies’ afternoon begins. So, where shall we go first?”

“Are you paying?” Canon asked, fuming.

“Of course! Today’s on me!” Ye Tian boasted.

“All right, let’s buy clothes first!” Canon smiled.

“Ger, I’ll pay you back later!” Leyton looked on nervously as the two girls tried on outfit after outfit, quietly telling Ye Tian.

“Yeah, right, like you would,” Ye Tian bluntly said. “No worries, I can afford this little bit.”

“Where did you get the money?” Leyton knew Ye Tian was skilled, but maybe he earned money by hunting monsters or something else unknown.

“Stop thinking nonsense, or you’ll have to pay!” Ye Tian said irritably.

“You pay then, I can’t afford it!” Leyton pouted. Though these weren’t big expenses for two girls, for Leyton they were astronomical. That’s why he worked hard and saved.

“Lei Mi, how about this one?” Canon held up a fresh, simple dress in front of Lei Yisina.

“It looks a bit small,” Lei Yisina said. Though she’d worn formal dresses before, this one was clearly a smaller size she hadn’t tried.

“Try it! It will look great!” Canon encouraged.

“Okay, I’ll try,” Lei Yisina said curious, wondering how it’d look. She was quite excited.

“Ta-da!” Canon called out to two boys chatting outside. “Here comes our lovely Lei Mi!”

Then she pulled the shy Lei Yisina out.

Ye Tian and Leyton’s jaws dropped to the floor.

“So adorable!”

“Does it look good?” Lei Yisina shyly asked. The dress was quite small, even showing her navel, something she never encountered with her noble upbringing!

“Very, very good!” Ye Tian quickly snapped his jaw shut and patted Leyton. “Your sister is asking you!”

Leyton startled and replied quickly: “Looks great! Definitely!” Then he giggled silly.

“You fool!” Canon muttered. Lei Yisina gradually relaxed and became less reserved. Ye Tian quickly brought over a dressing mirror. “Here, take a good look!”

In the mirror, the girl wore a pink, fresh dress. Her tender arms and thighs were exposed. The outfit was two-piece; the short top couldn’t cover her adorable navel, making her look like a little pink sprite.

“Hmm, not bad!” Lei Yisina puckered her lips, looking even cuter.

“Lei Mi, try a serious expression!” Ye Tian whispered.

“Pervert!” Canon immediately shielded Lei Yisina. “Don’t listen to him, he’s a creep!”

“What’s wrong?” Lei Yisina asked puzzled. Canon blushed and whispered something in her ear, making Lei Yisina blush too. She stepped hard on Ye Tian’s foot, saving face, then dragged Canon back to the fitting room.

“Ouch!” Ye Tian held his foot and hopped around. “Why don’t you control your fiancée!” he complained angrily to Leyton.
