With a soft click, the room door was locked. Pei Yanlin instinctively turned his head, his brows drawing into an even tighter frown.
“Sister Liu, why did you lock the door?” His voice held both confusion and wariness.
“Of course, so no one can interrupt our little pleasure.” A strange smile curled across Liu Li’s face, like a shadow beneath the moonlight, stirring an uneasy feeling in the heart.
Liu Li advanced step by step, while Pei Yanlin could only retreat one step at a time, already racking his mind for a way out.
“Brother, stop struggling. It’s useless. No one can interrupt us.” In his eyes, Liu Li’s smile gradually twisted into something grotesque and sinister. Pei Yanlin’s body suddenly went limp, and he collapsed onto the sofa.
“You…” Pei Yanlin struggled desperately to sit up, but his entire body felt as heavy as though it had been filled with lead. He could not even move a single finger.
He could not help recalling the malign peach blossom Bai Qianzhou had once mentioned. Gooseflesh erupted all over his body.
“You—you’re not Sister Liu. Who are you?” Pei Yanlin stared at her in terror.
But she said nothing. She simply reached out and began tearing at Pei Yanlin’s clothes. He wanted to resist, yet he had no strength left, and could only let “Sister Liu” run her hands over him.
Just then, a series of sharp, ill-timed snaps rang through the room.
Pei Yanlin and “Liu Li” turned their heads at the same time, their gazes fixed on the source of the sound.

The room, which had originally contained only the two of them, suddenly held a third person: Bai Qianzhou, leisurely eating an apple.
“Don’t mind me. Carry on, carry on.” Bai Qianzhou waved a hand, an innocent smile on her face.
“Little Sis, help! I’m going to die!” The instant Pei Yanlin saw Bai Qianzhou, tears of relief welled in his eyes. With his little sister here, he was saved.
“How dare you ruin my fun! Die!” “Liu Li’s” expression abruptly turned vicious. A mad light flickered in her eyes as she leaned forward slightly. In an instant, her fingernails lengthened and blackened, sharp as blades. She sprang into the air and shot straight toward Bai Qianzhou.
“If you want to play, then play. But there’s no fun in fighting and killing.” Bai Qianzhou bit into the apple, the crisp sound ringing like a pleasant little bell.
She rose slowly, her movements calm and graceful.
Before Pei Yanlin could even shout, “Be careful!” he watched a figure fly through the air like a leaf caught in the wind, crashing heavily into the corner of the guest room. The atmosphere instantly sank into a tense and unbelievable silence.
Pei Yanlin stared wide-eyed at Bai Qianzhou, longing to shout, Little Sis, you’re incredible!
Bai Qianzhou walked unhurriedly toward “Liu Li” in the corner. As she passed Pei Yanlin, she lightly tapped him between the brows with one finger. A streak of golden light darted into his forehead, and Pei Yanlin immediately felt his strength surge back into his body.
“Go open the door,” Bai Qianzhou said before continuing toward “Liu Li.”
Pei Yanlin did not dare hesitate. He dashed to the entrance, opened the door, and let Pei Hexuan and Bai Lu inside.

“Will you come out on your own, or shall I beat you out?” Bai Qianzhou bent down, her gaze blazing as she stared directly at “Liu Li.”
“How is that possible? How did you discover me?” “Liu Li” glared at Bai Qianzhou resentfully.
Bai Qianzhou seemed entirely unconcerned. She elegantly raised a finger and idly scratched inside her ear.
Then she lifted her hand and seized “Liu Li” with a single grasp. A female ghost, her entire body radiating resentment, was forcibly torn from within her. At that instant, Liu Li lost consciousness.
To Pei Hexuan and Bai Lu, it looked as though Bai Qianzhou were merely grabbing at empty air. Yet the temperature in the room suddenly plummeted, sending chills through everyone.
“How is this possible? How is this possible? No, it can’t be! No one can stop me from being with my brother. No one!”
The female ghost caught in Bai Qianzhou’s grasp struggled furiously. Her resentment spread in all directions like a violent wind through the night. The light bulbs in the room were affected, flickering on and off with sharp popping sounds and filling everyone with dread.
