Thank you for your support as the novel is published.
This book will be officially released tomorrow at noon. Originally, it was scheduled for Tuesday, but the date was moved forward. The journey of this book has truly been full of hardships. Last week, I received a recommendation from a little horn, which, for an author, is an immense affirmation. Yet, it lasted only three hours. This week, it was featured in Sanjiang, and you all know how crucial that recommendation is—it’s of utmost importance.
However, mine was taken down after just an hour. I’m not complaining for the sake of it; it’s simply hard to bear. I sat in front of the computer all afternoon, staring blankly for an hour, unable to write a single word. My editor has been very kind to me, and I am deeply grateful. There’s nothing wrong with the book itself; it seems we hit a special period, likely an issue with operations scheduling.
I have no right to blame anyone. I only hope those in charge of operations can be a bit more cautious with their arrangements. This is the small, humble cry of an author. Every book is incredibly important to its creator—plot lines are woven during work, after work, at meals, and before sleep. It’s truly like nurturing a child.
It’s so difficult.
Thank you all for loving this book. It will be released tomorrow at noon.
Let me talk about updates. Initially, with the release set for Tuesday, I would have had time to prepare drafts. But with all these events, my mindset truly collapsed, and I have no drafts ready.
I bought three cups of Americano and have adjusted my mood. From this moment on, I’ll start writing. Ten thousand words is certain; I dare not promise more.
As for extra chapters, I’ll try my best.
Let me explain the rules for additional chapters. Currently, the book has around 2,700 loyal readers. Accounting for about 700 paid drop-offs, that leaves 2,000. If initial subscriptions exceed 2,000, for every hundred above that, I’ll add one extra chapter.
I ask for your subscriptions, especially the initial ones—they are very important.
At the moment, there are only a little over two hundred monthly votes. Since I have no drafts, if the votes exceed a thousand, I’ll add another extra chapter.
If there is a leader among the readers, I’ll add two extra chapters.
That’s all for now—I need to start writing.
Thank you all for your love for this book. I will carefully craft the plot and write with dedication.
