Author's Note on Official Publication

This is my first book as a new author. Looking back at it now, it is quite immature and riddled with issues. I started without an outline, writing purely on impulse as ideas came to me. I am truly grateful for everyone’s continued support and indulgence.

Before I knew it, I had been writing for over two months. I could not have persisted this long without your encouragement; after all, for a corporate slave like me, churning out over four thousand words a day is quite a challenge.

Now that I have reached three hundred thousand words, it is time for the book to go live on the shelves. I hope you will continue to support me, and I will strive to do even better!

There is no need to worry about me abandoning the project. Even with the current performance being less than ideal, I have managed to make it to this milestone, and I will naturally continue writing. At the very least, I want to see my first book through to a stable conclusion as a personal commitment. I anticipate the final length will be between one million and 1.5 million words.

Once again, thank you all for your support, recommendation votes, monthly tickets, and tips—each one brings me great joy! Most importantly, I am asking for your first-time subscriptions, as this metric is quite significant.

I will add an extra chapter for every fifty first-time subscriptions, and I will also release bonus chapters irregularly after the book goes live, especially on weekends.

I truly, truly thank you for supporting me along this journey. The original intention behind this book was to explore alchemy—you could say it is a dumpling made just for the sake of the vinegar. There will be more alchemical methods introduced, but the core theme will remain unchanged. See you all in August! Love you guys.
